I rang the Shrewsbury branch of Medivet at 7:30pm, went through an extensive explanation why I was worried about my dog with the girl on the phone who seemed really attentive and caring, and after discussing options, told me she would go and consult the vet and would ring me back in the next half an hour (as to bring my dog in, or bring him in first thing in the morning after calming tablets could kick in). After an hour of waiting (8:30pm) I called back and asked for an update...to be told that the girl I was now speaking to had started work at 8pm and didn't have a clue what I was talking about as the girl I had originally spoken too, had finished her shift at 8pm and hadn't said anything. I then asked if the vet could be asked whether they were consulted, to be told that they were too busy and basically it's up to me what I decide to do. It's really upsetting that I trusted this practice with my dogs care and my own worries, to be ignored and left in the same position I started in.

Vet was very cold and not dog friendly. Didn’t take the time to get to know the dog, no softness, very clinical.

We were visiting from Norfolk and unfortunately the Bella dog injured her front paw and was limping a lot so we ended up taking her to the 24 hour Medivet, Talking on the phone the lady was very helpful and upon arriving just after midnight we were seen quickly and the the vet was brilliant. Calmed Bella (who is not a fan of the vets) and we left reassured and happy. Thank you 🐶🐾

We aren't registered with this vet, but my cat was recently hit and killed by a car and was taken to this vet. They cleaned his body and wrapped him in a blanket for us. Thank you for showing him such dignity and kindness in his final moments.
